1. Registration Information -When you create a Reliable Sathi account, we collect:

   5. Date of birth (mandatory for age verification 18+ requirement)

   6. Profile photo(s)

   7. City & general location

   8. Login information from any connected social media accounts (Google / Apple / Facebook)

We do NOT collect “dating preferences”, “romantic preferences”, or any information used for dating/matching.

2. Profile Information You Choose to Share

   1. Examples of optional profile fields:

      1. Interests

      2. Counselling needs

      3. General emotional context

      4. Professional background (optional)

      5. Lifestyle preferences

We strongly discourage uploading or writing sensitive information such as:

      3. Passwords

      4. Financial details

Anything you share is at your own discretion.

C. Biometric Face Verification (Mandatory)

To ensure that counsellors and users are genuine people and not impersonators, we use:

• Selfie-based face verification

• Facial mapping comparison between your selfie and profile picture

• We do NOT make you visible publicly during verification.

• Biometric data is stored securely and deleted: When no longer needed OR 3 years after your last interaction, whichever is earlier.

Legal basis:

• Fraud prevention & safety

• Identity confirmation

D. Information From Device We collect:

• Device type

• Operating system

• App version

• Device identifiers

• IP address

• Device language

• Crash logs

• App activity logs

E. Location Information (Non-Dating Usage)

Reliable Sathi does NOT use your location for matching.

We use location only for:

• Regional content / language display

• Ensuring counsellors are available in the correct region

• Safety compliance

You may disable location anytime in device settings.

F. Photos, Media & Storage Access

If permitted:

• Upload profile photos

• Share images with counsellors (optional)

• Analyse image quality for visibility improvement

G. Audio/Video Calls and Chat

We provide:

• Chat

• Audio calling

• Video calling

We DO NOT RECORD:

• Calls

• Video sessions

• Chat conversations

Unless:

• A user explicitly records using their own device, OR

• Required by law, OR

• You give clear consent for a specific session to be recorded (one-party consent under Indian law)

Reliable Sathi itself does not record calls by default.

H. Payments & Transactions

If you purchase paid counselling or premium features, we collect:

• Transaction ID

• Payment method

• Amount

• Time of transaction

• Bank name (for verification)

We DO NOT store:

• Card numbers

• CVV

• ATM PIN

• UPI PIN

• Passwords

• OTP

All payments are processed securely by third-party gateways.

We may request ID or verification if underage use is suspected.

No system is 100% secure, but we follow industry-best practices.

8. DATA RETENTION
